I want to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Miss. Romanello! I am so excited to start our new school year together and look forward to building our new Grade Two/Three family!!
This school year is going to be looking different for most of us, but not to worry! I am here to help and support your family in anyway that I can as we progress through these new times together.
The first couple of weeks will be spent on activties that will allow me to assess your child's abilities and needs for a successful school year. This will be done through our virtual learning environment (VLE) that your child can access with their LDCSB login.
In our virtual classroom, respect is an expectation for all of us. We have to respect ourselves, our peers, adults both at home and on the computer, and for the gift of education. I encourage my students to always do their best as we foster their self-confidence throughout the year. I strive to create a safe environment where every child feels welcome, part of our classroom family, and safe enough to take risks!
I am looking forward to a wonderful school year with you and your child. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out. It is important that we work together to support your child's development and help make this a fabulous year!
